Week 5 - missing Andreas, Chase and Barrett, already!
Rebecca, Chase and Miss Bennett are "free-dancing???"
Colton nicely asked Andreas to move, while Alissa laughed, I might add, and when he did not get an appropriate response, he kindly and gently removed him to the floor. Notice that all are still smiling--and never stopped, even during the confrontation. Don't you think we might learn a few lessons from them?

We went to the Gaylord Texan. We split up into teams and searched for locations on our scavenger hunt. Ms. Bennett, Ms. Williamson, Chase and Barrett "said" they won, but we think they did not follow the rules.
This week is going to be a challenge for our leader, Colton. We will all be less obedient team players than Andreas, Chase and Barrett...but we will see.
We do teach and learn ...sometimes...but those activities make boooorrrring photos! We are a picture taking group.

Summer School Wk 4--almost ready for real SCHOOL!!!
I am hoping you all had a super week. Yippee for me--cleaning flower beds and blinds--sad to say, but my once a year biggee chores behind me. YES
Looking at these photos from the 3rd week, it seems like a long time ago!
This week, Thursday, we will be visiting Gaylord Texan for our mini field trip. Not sure all that is involved, but plan on sending a snack, for sure.

Dance will be Wednesday, and the make up day will be Tuesday, the last week of summer school.
The LOG CABIN trip to Fort Worth was meaningful for us--very short--but one we can extend in the fall. Having read Uncle Tom's Cabin, we knew some facts!
The garden is really coming along--weeds and all! Feel free to stop by and pull a few any time! :)
And, check out 5 of my 7 grandchildren, my son, Terry, and daughter Lindsey's legs, in the pool with grandma (taking pictures, of course)...Caulan is walking! 9 months :)

Week 3 and flying!
We have had 2 super days--intense on the learning and teaching side--and a little fun thrown in for flavor!
Check out the first of our harvest!
We made ziplock bag ice cream--not bad. :)
Today, we made chili--the NO ALARM kind, and it was a really big hit!
We have completed 2 regions, and starting on the Panhandle Plains. Wow, three hours is not
much time.
Thursday, we will be traveling to Fort Worth to see the log cabins. Don't forget $2 and snacks. :)
